Graceland

Elvis decorated all of the rooms. The one of the formal living room in the first set above . Note the extra long couch.
The pool room had walls and ceiling done in material Elvis picked out. He hung out with his friends a lot in this room.
The swimming pool is outside. It is a modest size pool. It was funny we were expecting a large mansion. It is a large house and on 13 acres of land. He purchased it in the 50's for $100,000
for his parents. His Mom only lived there one year before passing on. Elvis lived there with his Dad and Pricilla, his wife. Actually he moved her there when she was still in school. She finished high school there and then they were married. Lisa was born one year later, well nine months later.
They had horses on the property and lots of fun toys. Golf cart races were a favorite on the acreage.
The picture below is of some of Elvis's motor cycles and cars. If you go to Graceland you'll have to pick and choose a ticket. We saw Graceland, the vehicles, military/ Private Presley and the planes. It was a difference of $5 and don't forget to use AAA discount, they may accept AARP
