Our next stop was Hot Springs AK
These are the old Bath Houses that used the spring waters for healing and relaxation purposes.
The street is referred to as Bath House Row. The one on the right is now used for the welcome information center for the park system. It is beautiful inside, mostly original. There is a free tour and short movie of the history. A must see if you are hear.
There are currently bath houses open for business. We hope to be back some day and try them out. We didn't realize how very popular they have been through the years and some are open and many more to follow.
